Leap into the unknown..
What an amazing sight. One of about twelve mallard chicks that threw themselves off from the guttering of a roof. The building had a kind of eco-roof covered in grass where they had hatched. After bouncing on the concrete, all chicks seemed safe and sound... Incredible.!

Spider wrapping up damselfly
The perfect predator here in a pond in West Yorkshire.. After catching a damselfly, this spider actually bent the insect's tail round to its head in order to make it easier to package... Amazing!!

From now on, we will have this owl available for all our bird of prey photography workshops in Yorkshire... along with a male merlin which arrives soon.!!!
